Illustrator

In the Illustrator class, we will focus on learning how to use the software, not on artistic design. Over the duration of this course, you're going to learn how to use Illustrator. You'll learn the difference between vector and raster graphics, and you'll also get a chance to save your files for print as well as the web.

Starting in January 2012, we will be using Illustrator CS5, but no matter which version you own, this class is for you. In order to fully benefit from this course, you will need Adobe Illustrator. Click here to download a free 30-day trial version.

Prerequisites
To be successful in this class, you must have previous computer experience. It makes no difference if you are a Mac or PC user but you need to be comfortable using a computer, including file management. Familiarity with a simple graphics program is helpful.
